FAT JOE TALKS marked STARZ’s first-ever weekly talk show series, and our goal was clear: position Fat Joe as the voice of the culture and the newest weekly talk show host. Known for his dynamic personality and deep roots in hip-hop, Fat Joe has evolved into one of the most influential cultural commentators of our time. This show aimed to tap into the current zeitgeist, sparking impactful conversations with an array of iconic guests.
With no show footage available prior to our marketing rollout, we faced the unique challenge of creating a campaign from scratch. I collaborated with creative partners to conceptualize a custom trailer that captured Fat Joe’s charisma, his legendary career, and highlighted the show’s cultural relevance. Given the show’s weekly rollout, our campaign’s success hinged on understanding and tapping into the pulse of the culture, ensuring the visuals and messaging resonated with audiences and positioned Fat Joe Talks as a must-watch series.
